General Assembly 1
Lizzy Kwok (AISHK)
Hi everyone! My name is Lizzy Kwok and I am proud to be serving as one of your President for General Assembly I for SHASMUN VIII. I’m a Year 11 student currently studying at the Australian International School in Hong Kong. Having participated in MUN for more than four years now, I’ve had the opportunity to attend a multitude of conferences locally and throughout Asia – including 3 previous SHASMUN’s! MUN was my first introduction to the world of politics and international relations, and I can truly say that it has given me such valuable experiences and shaped me to become the person I am today. Therefore, I sincerely urge delegates to reflect on the important global issues presented to you, speak more and make new friends! Looking forward to meeting everyone in November, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Ning-Ning Thor (SAS Pudong)
Greetings delegates, student officers, and program advisors, welcome to SHASMUN VIII! My name is Ning Ning Thor, and I look forward to serve as the deputy chair of GA 1. In the past three years I had great passion and dedicated my time to the MUN program. I started my MUN journey starting as a page in SHASMUN V, and it is a privilege for me to come back here annually as a delegate and finally as a chair. I hope to welcome new delegates on this MUN journey, and facilitate an engaging and constructive conference for experienced delegates. I look forward to see you all in the coming November at SHASMUN VIII!
